Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill Hotel Review: Given the size (836 guest rooms including 30 suites) and extent of the facilities (i.e. the 24-hour business center has its own FedEx office), this hotel's appeal to a corporate clientele comes as no surprise. Right down the street from the Capitol Building, the property has 38,000 square feet of function space, with the Thornton Room offering views of Capitol Hill. Though attractive, public spaces feel as if they cater to large crowds; accommodations, on the other hand, have an individualized atmosphere, with modern furnishings, dark wood, gold-toned accents and a stylish use of textures such as leather. A Business Plan is available and comes with complimentary Internet, breakfast buffet for one, free local/long distance phone calls and more. Regency Club lodgings provide with access to a private lounge with concierge and continental breakfast. The 8,000-square-foot fitness center has an indoor heated lap pool. For dining, Article One - American Grill (in the five-story atrium lobby) serves classic American dishes.
