InterContinental San Francisco Hotel Review

: Opened in 2008, this 32-story glass structure occupies prime real estate adjacent to the Moscone Center, one block from Yerba Buena Gardens and less than two blocks from the posh San Francisco Westfield Centre mall. The real story, however, is the hotel's commitment to green. The property is LEED Gold Certified under the U.S Green Building Council (USGBC), and it offers Zipcar Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles for guests to get around town. All 550 rooms (only 72 per floor) are luxurious and elegantly appointed with rich wood and marble, striking contemporary art, stylish furniture and the latest high-tech amenities. If that's not enough, floor-to-ceiling windows boast spectacular city and bay views. The health-club --- complete with an indoor lap pool --- stays open 24 hours for late-night workouts; guests also love the on-site I-Spa for its heated roof terrace. On the ground floor, Bar 888 and Luce restaurant serve California-inspired drinks and Italian food. The property also offers ample meeting space.
