Jackson Hole Lodge Hotel Review: This well-priced lodge is popular in the winter with skiers, who can take the Jackson Hole shuttle from the front door to three ski resorts. In the summer it draws vacationers looking for a base for their national park visits---Grand Teton is 20 minutes away and Yellowstone just an hour. It sits right in Jackson, within walking distance to the town square and Teton County Fairgrounds. The lounge area offers a satisfying, western atmosphere with knotty pine paneling, a stone fireplace with a log mantle and lots of dark, rustic, woodsy hues. Décor in the guest rooms and condos is more in keeping with standard hotel rooms, although the pine furniture is a plus. Accommodations begin with studios with Murphy beds and range up to two-level, two-bedroom condos with fireplaces, full kitchens and private decks. The indoor pool area is beautiful. The 40-foot swimming pool sits beneath a cathedral ceiling of golden-colored wood. There are also two whirlpools, a sauna and sundeck. A small meeting room is available.
