JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa Hotel Review

: One of the largest and grandest resort hotels in the Coachella Valley (eight stories with 884 rooms on 450 acres), this place has everything you'd expect, and then some. Play tennis on your choice of clay, grass or hard surface courts, golf on two eighteen-hole courses, lounge by any of five swimming pools, shop at dozens of boutiques or just linger in the lobby with its hanging gardens. As for the surprise extras: the grounds are more like a campus of waterways than a desert oasis --- you can see for yourself on a free gondola ride where wild cockatiels greet passing guests. All rooms have balconies (the better to take in the sweeping mountain views) and granite and marble bathrooms with lotions and potions made from orange, tea and the like. At the resort's day spa, a range of therapies will help relax and rejuvenate you from head to toe --- massages, facials and body treatments pamper with a European approach. Dining experiences include the Japanese garden at Mikado and nightlife can be found at on-site Costas.

Find terrifying vertical drops and body-twisting tube rides at these wet 'n' wild luxury resorts from Jamaica to Hawaii.
Whether you're in the home of the historic game or on a remote jungle-fringed fairway, the rules of golf remain the same.
