Kaanapali Alii Hotel Review: Guests rave about this Kaanapali condominium, and many return year after year. The apartments are air-conditioned, spacious (measuring in at 1,500 to 1,900 square feet) and luxurious, each with a fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, a TV and VCR, washer/dryer and private oversized lanai. Daily maid service, in-room dining and grocery delivery, 24-hour front desk, video library, beach activities desk and seasonal kids program are also available. The heated pool is in a pavilion, great for evening swims. The property also includes a whirlpool, saunas, a wading pool, an exercise room and gas barbecues. The location is a good one, near the Whalers Village, where there are top restaurants and other resort hotels, some of which offer charging privileges to Kaanapali Alii guests. One-bedroom units sleep up to four, while two-bedroom condos can accommodate six people at no extra charge. When you stay six nights, the seventh night is usually free. Overall, this is definitely more bang for the buck than many of the hotels in the area.
