Larkspur Landing Sunnyvale Hotel Review: With its California Craftsman style, custom furnishings and apartment-like suites, this is a whole new breed of business hotel. The location may be corporate, tucked just a block off Highway 101 near the Silicon Valley, but the atmosphere is pure poetry. Authentic Arts & Crafts accents are complemented by original artworks by Winslow Homer, Diego Rivera, Paul Klee and Vincent Van Gogh. In a way, this property feels more like a living museum than it does a hotel. The finely appointed library is filled with novels, movies and CDs, all of which you can borrow for in-room use. The staff is happy to act as docent when it comes to the artwork on the walls; as well, they can arrange grocery service to stock your en suite kitchenette. Grab-n-go breakfasts are perfect for those running out the door to a meeting. And for guests doing office work in their rooms, there are executive desks, data ports and high-speed Internet access.
