Maricopa Manor Hotel Review: This delightful Spanish Revival-style B&B, once an expansive family home built in 1928, sits in a prestigious historic district in north central Phoenix surrounded by more than an acre of lush landscaping. Decades-old citrus trees shade a walled courtyard and a sun-heated pool and spa. Seven rooms all have different decor personalities, including classic Victorian with authentic antiques, Mission Arts and Crafts and colonial Mexican. Each room has a refrigerator, microwave and its own private entrance. Some have fireplaces. Privacy is taken seriously here, with no mandatory gathering for breakfast or social hours, although guests may join others by the pool or in any of the common areas. Morning muffins, fruit and juice are delivered to suites in a wicker basket at guests’ preferred time, assuring a leisurely breakfast in bed.
