Maricopa Manor Hotel Review: This delightful Spanish Revival-style B&B (once an expansive family home) was built in 1928 and sits in a prestigious historic district in north central Phoenix surrounded by more than an acre of lush landscaping. Decades-old citrus trees shade a walled courtyard and a sun-heated pool and spa. Six suites all have different personalities, including classic Victorian with authentic antiques, Mission Arts and Crafts and colonial Mexican. Each room has a refrigerator, microwave and its own private entrance, and some have fireplaces. Privacy is taken seriously here, although guests may join others by the pool or in any of the common areas. Morning muffins, fruit and juice are delivered to suites in a wicker basket at guests’ preferred time, assuring a leisurely breakfast in bed.
