Marriott Pittsburgh City Center Hotel Review: It's hard to find a hotel more centrally located than this one. Though no architectural gem, the interior is nicely appointed with all the allure you'd expect from a Marriott. The hotel sits across the street from the Mellon Arena and is within a couple miles of the Steelers' Heinz Field, the Pirates' PNC Park, the Andy Warhol Museum, Carnegie Science Center, the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts and Heinz Hall. The 402 guestrooms have a regal appeal with hues of red and gold complemented by dark woods. Amenities include high-speed Internet access, cable/satellite TV with in-room movies and complimentary in-room coffee. If you've come for work, there are well-lit desks with ergonomic chairs and two-line phones, as well as rooms specially designed for business travelers. Fifteen meeting rooms, a concierge service, laundry facilities, hair salon, gift shop and the Steelhead Brasserie and Wine Bar bring most anything you need right to your door.
