The Moore Hotel Review: Just two blocks from Pike Place Market, this historic hotel dates back to 1907. It is celebrated for more than just its status as a landmark lodge. The building also houses the Moore Theatre, Seattle’s oldest existing entertainment venue, which today hosts concerts and stage productions. The hotel’s WiFi-equipped lobby features restored original decorative molding, marble and tile; the on-site NiteLite Lounge is old school at its finest, with wooden booths and a local vibe. Guest rooms are simple but serviceable, and amenities are few: this is not the place to stay if you want in-room coffee makers, safes and air-conditioning (fans are available from the front desk). Keep in mind that some rooms share a bathroom. Guests staying here can easily walk to the Belltown neighborhood, Seattle Center and the Washington State Convention Center. Reduced rates are offered at a nearby garage.
