Mountain Lodge at Telluride Hotel Review

: This log-and-stone condominium hotel is patterned after the old National Park Lodges. Its slope-side location attracts folks who love to ski. It is close to Telluride, which can be reached by a scenic (and free) gondola. Each of the 90 units has a large deck or balcony with views of the surrounding 14,000-foot peaks. Other amenities are equally notable---gas fireplaces in the living rooms, whirlpool tubs in the master baths, and kitchens fully equipped with sub-zero refrigerators and stainless-steel gas stoves. The two- and three-bedroom condos, as well as the cabins, also have washers and dryers. The 10 cabins are by far the most picturesque choice; they are constructed of hand-peeled logs and have large windows looking directly out onto the ski slopes. Located in the main lodge, The Tavern Bar is a popular apr├Ęs-ski destination, as are the outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi.
