Wyndham New Yorker Hotel Review: Guests at this Midtown lodging spin through the revolving doors to be greeted by high ceilings and huge chandeliers. When the property opened with 1,000 rooms in 1929, it was the biggest hotel in the world. Today, it’s a luxurious landmark where tourists come to sleep and New Yorkers come to sip coffee at the in-lobby café or eat at one of the two restaurants attached to the building. The hotel renovated all 900 guestrooms and suites, as well as the lobby and façade. The hotel continues to offer a number of great services, including complimentary Wi-Fi, HBO movies and a fitness center. Tick Tock Diner is open 24 hours a day, and Cooper's Tavern serves pasta, steak and seafood.
