Oceana Beach Club Hotel Review

: Fresh, bright, airy and comfortable, the Oceana is across the street from the bluffs overlooking Santa Monica beach. Overflowing with charm and style evocative of the Côte d'Azur, the all-suite hotel enjoyed a multi-million dollar refurbishment in 2006. Interior designer Chris Barrett created an intimate beach cottage environment, and all suites feature game tables, multiple 50-inch high-definition plasma televisions, and private, executive work areas with high-speed wired and wireless Internet access. Spacious bedrooms include king or double queen-sized bed with luxurious bathrooms boasting marble floors and vanities, phones, hair dryers and more. Comfortable living rooms have Art Deco-inspired furnishings, high-tech media centers and fully equipped kitchens stocked and replenished as requested. Most rooms also feature private balconies and some offer ocean views; others overlook the hotel's European-style swimming pool and lush courtyard. Tower 8 restaurant offers a menu that showcases local SoCal ingredients. Offering easy access to the Third Street Promenade, the Santa Monica Pier and the chic Montana Avenue district, the Oceana is a good choice for a romantic weekend getaway or an extended business stay.
