Old Santa Fe Inn Hotel Review: Opened in 2001 after a full restoration, this stylish, upscale, modern property is designed in the style of an old-time Southwestern motor court, with the rooms set around a parking area. The 34-room property is on the edge of the hip and trendy Guadalupe District, with its many design shops, cafes, and galleries but also less than a ten-minute walk from the historic Santa Fe Plaza. Rooms are spacious and airy, done in the traditional Southwestern style, with dual-line phones, TVs with VCRs, CD players, coffeemakers, and irons with boards. Deluxe rooms also have private patios or balconies, microwaves, refrigerators, fireplaces, and whirlpool tubs. Tile floors, handcrafted headboards, and deluxe linens lend further warmth to the rooms. Other pluses include a 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center, Wi-Fi, a hearty full breakfast (there's a build-your-own breakfast-burrito buffet), afternoon snacks in the hotel's handsome library, and free parking. The staff is extremely friendly at this hotel that is owned by a fourth-generation Santa Fe family.
