Omni San Francisco Hotel Review: This 1926 Florentine Renaissance-style landmark building boasts classic décor, ornate crown moldings and public areas dominated by excellent city views. It is in the center of the Financial District and only a short walk to Union Square, Chinatown and Embarcadero Center, making it ideal for tourists as well as visiting executives. All 362 stately guest rooms feature high ceilings, 1920s styling, marble bathrooms and LCD televisions. Other amenities include executive desks with ergonomic chairs, dual-line telephones, complimentary high-speed Internet access and speakerphones. Although there is a fitness center, Get Fit Kits mean guests can work out in the privacy of their own rooms. Guests also have access to a 24-hour business center and more than 12,000 square feet of meeting space. Bob's Steak & Chophouse, the on-site eatery, specializes in Midwestern, corn-fed beef; its bar also serves up one of the best whiskey sours in town.
