Palms Casino Resort Hotel Review: The creator of and brains behind this resort, the impeccable George Maloof, wanted a hip place near the Strip, for every type of play and every style of player. Succeeding far beyond his wildest dreams, he spawned this venue that includes N9NE Steakhouse and ghostbar, featuring intimate seating vessels, twelve-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor ghost deck. The Pearl Concert Theater offers state-of-the-art stage technology in an intimate setting --- there’s not a single bad seat in the house. Two towers house 703 rooms, well appointed with high-speed Internet access, refreshment centers and much more. A third tower, Palms Place, is home to opulent suites, a spa and Simon restaurant. The two bachelor party suites are also popular, and big-name entertainers vie to stay in the full-floor Real World Suite, in which the MTV show was filmed. The Fantasy Tower is exactly that: a playground with amenities to help guests fulfill their wildest dreams. Fun themes include the Bowling Suite, complete with two regulation-size bowling lanes; the Hot Pink Suite, which is pink, silver and furry; and the fantasy granddaddy of them all: the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, which has, among other incredible features, an outdoor Jacuzzi that juts out from the building. The three-story, 18,000-square-foot spa overlooks the swimming pools. Alizé (created and operated by acclaimed chef-restaurateur André Rochat) occupies the top floor and has a spectacular view of the Strip and surrounding mountains. The Palms Pool features 24 private luxury cabanas and three bungalows that can be combined to create one big party atmosphere. The casino's fourteen-screen Brenden Cineplex movie theater has hosted Las Vegas film festival CineVegas.
