POSH Palm Springs Hotel Review: This Art Deco hotel is a welcome departure from the abundance of mid-century properties that dot the arid Palm Springs landscape. Located in the uptown area of El Mirador and housed in a curved, streamlined building from the 1930s, POSH Palm Springs is a luxurious retreat with just eleven rooms. The trio of suites boast nearly 600 square feet of living space with separate dining areas and full kitchens plus walk-in closets and two-person tubs. The deluxe rooms are equally alluring with wet bars and dining areas. Each stay includes a gourmet breakfast plus complimentary poolside lunch. Set your clock for 5 p.m. and plan on gathering with fellow guests around the fire pit for light appetizers and a complimentary martini. Turndown service isn’t a mere chocolate on your pillow either, but a bedside snack of milk and cookies. POSH offers a heated swimming pool as well as a new saltwater spa. Much of the abstract artwork that adorns the public and private spaces was created by the owner, adding a personal touch.
