Radisson Plaza Hotel Minneapolis Review: Built to wow and impress, the lobby is awash in marble and boasts one of the most beautiful fountains in the Twin Cities. This is the flagship property of the chain, which was named for Pierre Esprit Radisson, who explored the Minnesota region during the 1600s. Everything about this place was made to impress, so don't expect subtlety. It may not be typically Minnesotan, but that can be a good thing when it comes to luxury. Guests rooms are infused with lots of rich oak furnishings and a preponderance of greens and burgundies. The bathrooms are warm and spacious, and many feature marble tubs and shower surrounds. King Suites are favorites with their Jacuzzis for two.
