Red Agave Resort Hotel Review: At this charming Sedona oasis, guests will find rustic desert landscaping, outdoor garden areas, a heated swimming pool, two hot tubs, gas barbecue grills and an outdoor fire pit. The resort has five double-occupancy studio units, which feature heating and air-conditioning with individual climate controls, flat-screen TVs and private baths with full showers, as well as outdoor patio areas with tables and chairs. Larger groups can book one of nine chalet-style units, which are two stories and situated around a spacious courtyard area and pool. Each can comfortably sleep up to six adults and is outfitted with amenities such as a flat-panel TV with cable, towels and linens, bath amenities, sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchen, dishes and utensils. Most importantly, they come with breathtaking views. Outdoorsy types will enjoy staying at this resort since the owners are mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts who are eager to share advice about area activities such as hiking, Jeep tours and trips to the Grand Canyon or the Out of Africa Wildlife Refuge. Red Agave Resort is also close to Sedona’s various outlet malls and shops, as well as a wide selection of dining, cultural and entertainment hotspots in Historic Uptown Sedona and Tlaquepaque Village.
