Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel Review: Atlanta's Galleria shopping and office complex attracts professional and trade shows, thanks to lots of exhibition space. But the property is also close to the Cobb Energy Center, which is home to the Atlanta Opera and the Atlanta Ballet, as well as being a popular venue for many other music-centered performances. A major updating has brought a vibrant color palette to the rooms, along with mural wall coverings, bright carpeting and desks with ergonomic chairs. On the fourteenth floor the concierge level offers its guests complimentary breakfast and afteroon hors d'oeuvres (but not cocktails). Secretarial services complement business center offerings, which also include a UPS outlet. The Spa Waverly features several treatment rooms, and the workout center is adjacent to the indoor pool. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are saline. In addition, there are two racquetball courts. Medici presents fine dining with an Italian emphasis, and Tosca Blu serves cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Two SUVs are available to ferry guests to destinations within three miles of the hotel and back. Across the street is Cumberland Mall, and nearby is Akers Mill Square, both of which add to the area's shopping/dining mix.
