The Ritz-Carlton, Denver Hotel Review

: Opened in early 2008, the Ritz-Carlton represents the best of what Denver has to offer, with Rocky Mountain views and a cosmopolitan Downtown corridor locale. The Financial District is nearby, as well as the 16th Street Mall. Discerning business and leisure guests will enjoy laid-back luxury. That's not to say that the Ritz's famed standard of amenities has relaxed: guest rooms feature 400 thread-count Frette linens, high tech extras such as iPod docking stations and HD TVs plus expansive bathrooms with rainforest shower heads. The hotel also serves as a posh venue for weddings and conferences, with 13,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space. For dining, ELWAY's (named for former Denver Broncos' quarterback John Elway) offers a menu of steak and seafood. Another sport-influenced addition is a basketball court inside FORZA, the hotel's fitness facility. Guests can also tend to the body in a more relaxing way by indulging in pampering treatments at the hotel's luxurious day spa. Club Level rooms, including a lounge with light meal and beverage service, are available and always worth the extra fee. Pets (specifically small dogs under 60 pounds) are welcome for an additional cost.
