Seton Hotel Review: Budget-minded travelers can rejoice. This East Side hotel has single and double rates that rival those found at most of the city’s hostels. And, oh happy day (and night), you won’t find backpackers partying into the wee hours. Instead, you can count on a quiet, clean room. This hotel is popular with the staff at the nearby UN. The personnel is friendly, although it’s often difficult to hear them through the thick glass wall that separates the front desk clerks from the guests. The rooms are decent enough, and include a sink and refrigerator. And, like all good budget hotels --- when will the pricey ones catch up? --- Wi-Fi is free. Still, this place is not what you’d want to call home for any extended period of time. Not all accommodations have private bathrooms, so make sure you specify in advance (and expect to pay more). There are complimentary laundry services on the premises.
