Super 8 Salt Lake City Airport Hotel Review: Constructed in the late Nineties, this motel is set on a large plot of land located in a less urban area west of the airport. While it takes around 10 minutes to drive to downtown, it offers incredible views of the city skyline and the Wasatch Front. A large Victorian fireplace commands the formal lobby, with its wine-colored cherry wood furniture, scalloped sconces and delicate plants. Rooms are standard, but include fridges, microwaves and large TVs. For a small price increase, the King Studios and Suites are significantly more luxurious with plush recliner chairs, huge beds and in-room whirlpools. A lovely indoor pool resides in a setting of high ceilings and hanging plants. Complimentary services include continental breakfast and airport shuttle.
