Terranea Resort Hotel Review

: Terranea creates an idyllic California coast vacation with its ocean views and plenty of activities for enjoying the temperate year-round climate. Among the many ways to spend a day are horseback riding, kayaking, surfing and on-site golfing at the nine-hole Links at Terranea. Each of the 360 guest rooms, 34 suites, twenty oceanfront bungalows, 50 ocean-view casitas and 32 villas offer expansive and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Island, lush gardens and pools. The family- and earth-friendly resort may seem large, but spread over 102 acres (much of which is open land on the Palos Verdes Peninsula), it provides guests with just the right amount of privacy. Terranea's signature restaurant, mar'sel, presents a menu of fresh, gourmet cuisine featuring ingredients grown on the property. Additional dining options include Catalina Kitchen (California market fare with international twists), Nelson's (California comfort food) and Bashi (contemporary Asian cuisine). The Spa at Terranea features VIP suites, fire pits and yet more of those spectacular Pacific Ocean views.
