TradeWinds Island Grand Beach Resort Hotel Review

: With a variety of nine restaurants, lots of recreation and a wide range of meeting facilities, this resort is constantly filled with people from all walks of life. You'll see business suits, bathing suits, wedding gowns and more. The overall feeling here is one of spaciousness. A small scenic canal populated by swans winds through the principal part of the property. There is a Key West look to many of the buildings, and fake palm trees in the central foyer add to the island flavor. Patios, terraces and courtyards complete the picture. This well-planned and well-run facility has a huge variety of guest rooms and meeting spaces. Most accommodations are done with whitewashed wood d├ęcor and feature a wet bar area with coffee maker, fridge, toaster, microwave and dishware. Many also have views of the Gulf of Mexico. Additional amenities include safes, voice mail, daily newspapers, irons and ironing boards and hair dryers. The 8,000-square-foot Grand Palm Colonnade offers dining in a climate-controlled pre-conference area that has meeting rooms on all sides. This garden atrium is an ideal location for group receptions. There's a very practical deli and snack shop on-site.
