Villas of Grand Cypress Hotel Review: Grand is the operative word at this Mediterranean-inspired resort that could easily be confused for one of the upscale, gated residential communities so popular in South Florida. A renowned golf destination, it is surrounded by a 45-hole, Jack Nicklaus signature course and provides a home for the Academy of Golf, which offers a vast number of programs for all levels. Orlando's premier equestrian center, an impressive racquet club and a spa are also among the resort's impressive facilities. Accommodation choices include junior villas and villas ranging from one to four bedrooms, offering up to 3,100-square-feet of space. Each is individually furnished and boasts sunken living rooms, dining for up to six, full kitchens equipped with fine china, whirlpools, fireplaces and French doors leading onto patios with uninterrupted views of the seemingly endless grounds. Despite the home-away-from-home atmosphere, you'll also enjoy twice-a-day maid service. A bar and two restaurants make this property as much of a destination as the area it resides in.
