Wequassett Resort and Golf Club Hotel Review: This Pleasant Bay resort sprawls over 22 acres of prime real estate that dates back more than 400 years. Open from mid-April to mid-November, it is next door to the Cape Cod National Golf Club, and guests are granted the privilege of playing this prestigious set of holes. Van service will also deliver you to one of two nearby public courses, or to Chatham village for shopping and dining. Tennis, fishing and sailing, including guided instruction by on-site staff, are also on offer. Rooms are in independent cottages (some may have more than one guest room) along the shore to villa-style rooms in a separate structure. All have private balconies or patios. The furnishings are inviting in charming pastel tones. Those interested in cycling around the Cape can rent a bike right on the property. Clam Point is the resort’s private bay beach; larger public beaches can be found just a short boat ride away. Formal and informal dining options are available in the five dining outlets. In July and August, a kid’s club operates, so guests can tee off while the children play.
