Suzuki Reviews

Originally founded as a loom-building business in 1909, this Japanese multinational corporation today specializes in vehicles of all types, from automobiles to ATVs to wheelchairs. Since shifting from looms to wheels in the 1950s, Suzuki has grown to become the second largest car manufacturer in Japan and the tenth largest in the world. However, after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2012, Suzuki announced its plans to discontinue auto sales in the U.S. and instead to focus wholly on the production of motorcycles.

Suzuki Kizashi Sport GTS
Offering the solid feel and styling of a European sedan, the Suzuki Kizashi is a pleasant alternative for those in search of a quality car at a budget price. Fitted with a sport-tuned suspension and lightweight sport wheels, the Kizashi Sport GTS displays responsive handling and decent power from its 2.4-liter inline-4.

Suzuki SX4 Sportback
The aptly-named Suzuki SX4 Sportback is a fun-to-drive 5-door hatchback that combines excellent handling and peppy acceleration with a comfortable, well-equipped interior. Drivers looking for a little more performance from their compact city car will do well to check out this agile economy hatchback.

Suzuki Kizashi
Moving Suzuki into upscale territory, this smart sports sedan is a value-oriented urban vehicle featuring most of what you’d want in a car today, including all-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission.

Suzuki Equator Crew Cab
Modeled after the Nissan Frontier, this mid-sized pickup compensates for its lack of originality with sheer utility while off road. Sporting a 261-horsepower V6 engine and a five-speed automatic transmission, this roomy backwoods tank can haul all kinds of weekend adventure gear and comes with a wide range of optional features.

Suzuki Forenza SW
This well-priced station wagon, which boasts attractive, European-inspired styling and a wealth of standard features for just over $16,000, is perfect for frugal families and commuters looking for something with a little more space than the standard compact sedan.

Suzuki SX4
Those in the market for a small, fuel efficient car must take a look at Suzuki's all-new sporty SX4. Boasting more power and room than the Honda Fit, this all-wheel drive hatchback offers a great mix of ride and handling, while showing off edgy good looks.

Suzuki XL7
Value is the optimum word here, as Suzuki's largest vehicle ever undercuts its seven-seat SUV competitors by thousands. Attractive styling, roomy interior and high-feature content should make families very happy.

Suzuki Grand Vitara 4WD
Slightly bigger than its predecessor, the new Grand Vitara comes with Suzuki's long warranty and packs pretty good power.

Suzuki Reno
This sporty little car comes with a pretty welcoming price tag, even when you add in some of the sweet optional features like an MP-3 player.

Suzuki Forenza LX
The value of this auto is in the amount of standard equipment, such as a cool audio system, a nice set of wheels and tires, power everything and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Of note is the size of the trunk, so despite being a small car, you can wedge five people and their luggage comfortably, and the dashboard reminded us of much pricier European sedans.

Suzuki XL7 4WD EX III
Leave it to Suzuki to package a car loaded with a bunch of features, a peppy V6 engine and covered by an excellent warranty. It does not get the best gas mileage out there but you'll pack in up to seven passengers in luxury, or safely transport precious goods—you get 75.1 cubic feet of cargo space.

Suzuki Grand Vitara 4WD EX
Suzuki does it again with a little car, well designed and very practical all around. The Grand Vitara offers a comfortable ride in the city and good off-road utility in the country with the “shift-on-the-fly” feature. Ownership is made easy with an excellent warranty.

Suzuki Aerio SX
This Japanese manufacturer has been well known worldwide for its award-winning motorcycles—now it's heading for the US on four wheels. Among Suzuki's full line of small sporty vehicles is a new five-door offering in a handsome sporty package.
