2005 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible
By Alain Gayot

In short: Feel the wind in comfort and safety.

If you are looking for a roomy and comfortable convertible that won’t break the bank, the folks at Chrysler have this option for you. Our tester came in this handsome magnesium pearl coat paint. Most everything you’d expect comes standard in this model. The top is electric but requires the manual final lock. We also did not notice seat heat. You can easily put a couple of passengers in the back, and the trunk offers a decent amount of cargo space.

Highlighted Features:
- Traction control
- Illuminated entry
- Security alarm/Sentry Key theft deterrent system
- Rear courtesy console lamp
- Leather-wrapped shift knob
- Steering wheel control for audio system
- Speed control
- Mini trip computer
- One-touch down power windows
- Convertible top boot cover
- Fog lamps

Exterior design is sleek and the lines flow with an air of elegance toward the wide back. Inside everything is laid out logically; an engineering degree is not necessary to operate most features. You can almost get the very basic Sebring with a 4-cylinder engine for $10,000 less, but we appreciated the 200 horses our V6 put out on the Touring. Despite the bigger engine, the V6 also keeps a light thirst for gas—about 21 mpg on the city, 28 on the highway. It’s summer after all—go test drive one.
