Danville Concours d'Elegance
Classic Automobiles in the East Bay
Now in its eighth year, the Danville Concours d'Elegance is once again descending upon the small East Bay town's historic Old Town for a weekend of car-fueled fun benefiting Parkinson's research and patient care. On Saturday, the weekend's festivities begin with a Tour d'Elegance along the scenic country roads of North Bay. When the sun goes down, guests get dressed up for a night out at the Blackhawk Museum, where the establishment's own classic car collection will be on display before dinner and a live auction. Sunday morning, vintage automobiles, motorcycles, yachts and trailers take over the streets of Old Town for the Concours d'Elegance. Although the main draw is rare and exotic autos, visitors will also enjoy chowing down on gourmet food, sampling Napa wines and racing remote control cars with the kids. Sunday's Concours is free to guests; however, donations are encouraged, with proceeds benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Parkinson's Institute.
