Louisville Concours d'Elegance

Horses and Horsepower

A Ferrari on display at the Louisville Concours d'Elegance

Spend a weekend at Churchill Downs, the location of the world-famous Kentucky Derby, for a chance to see more than 200 rare, vintage and unique automobiles. Combining the best in “Horses and Horsepower,” this year’s event pays special tribute to classic Rolls-Royce models. Festivities kick off on Friday morning with the Heaven Hill Road Rally, a scenic drive through Kentucky bluegrass country to Heaven Hill Distilleries for a catered lunch and private tour of the facilities. Saturday's schedule consists of Dawn at the Downs (a Champagne brunch and guided tour of the racetrack) followed by a special evening of Bourbon and cocktails, a silent auction and dinner on the property’s Millionaire’s Row. On Sunday, the Concours d’Elegance will begin in earnest, highlighting vendors, a fashion show and an art show along with the exquisitely restored collector cars. The vehicles on display will include Rolls-Royces and other European makes; American classics and muscle cars (pre-1974); Corvettes to 1971; brass-era autos; and motorcycles. The weekend will benefit Brooklawn Child & Family Services, a child welfare charity.
