Large and Luxurious SUV

In short: A luxurious 21st-century SUV.

Infiniti QX56 4WD Review

While most manufacturers are moving towards small SUVs and crossovers, the sizable, seven-passenger Infiniti QX56 4WD makes a big first impression. Featuring a retro, 20's flair, the luxury SUV looks a bit like an old-school locomotive engine — and has the towing capacity to match. Fitted with a 5.6-liter direct-injected V8 that boasts a beefy 400 horsepower, the QX56 4WD can pull up to 8,500 pounds and sprints from 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds — not bad for a vehicle that tips the scale at over two tons.

Inside, rugged features give way to refined styling and a high-tech infotainment system that combines satellite radio with real-time weather and traffic reports. Our tester's theater package added dual 7-inch color monitors with two wireless headphones and wireless remote control, making the Infiniti QX56 4WD perfect for long excursions with the kids.
