2013 Chevrolet Cruze Eco

Gas-Sipping Sedan

A three-quarter front view of a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze Eco

In short: A fuel-efficient compact sedan.

Chevrolet Cruze Eco Review

Built on the same platform as the Chevrolet Volt, this gas-powered sedan may not receive the same hype as its hybrid cousin; however, the Cruze Eco has proven itself worthy of the consideration of fuel-conscious consumers. Weighing in at a scant 3,029 pounds and featuring a turbocharged 1.4-liter inline-4, this fuel-sipping compact car earns an impressive 42 highway while still offering a pleasant ride and decent performance. Our Atlantis blue tester came fitted with seven-inch touch screen navigation and an enhanced safety package that adds rear parking assist, rear cross-traffic alert and a side blind zone alert system.
