2009 Volkswagen CC VR6 4Motion Review
Surprisingly Sumptuous
| In
short: A luxurious and feature-packed four-passenger sedan. |
The Volkswagen CC isn’t easily defined. For example, the car’s initialed name, CC, stands for “Comfort Coupe,” even though it’s a mid-sized sedan. Comfort, however, is spot on. Wrapped in aerodynamic and handsome contours, the upscale-minded CC is largely based off the Passat, and features good handling, a roomy interior and plenty of value-oriented features. Standard on all trims is a multi-function trip computer, a six-disc CD changer, heatable and powered front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Our tester, which was powered by a stout six-cylinder engine, came with powered (and heated) exterior mirrors, a panoramic power vent sunroof, HomeLink, Sirius satellite radio, a rearview camera, a navigation display system and an ultrasonic park distance control system.
