adidas by Stella McCartney fall/winter 2007
Staying fit has never looked this good. The successful collaboration between adidas and Stella McCartney has brought style and high fashion to fitness wear. Since the debut collection in 2005, McCartney has been designing sportswear pieces that reflect the same sleek and cool aesthetic as her eponymous label.
Gym Dance pieces from fall/winter 2007
The current fall/winter collection covers yoga, running, tennis, winter sports and dance—a first for the adidas by Stella McCartney line. The new “Gym Dance” segment highlights soft and fluid shapes mixed up with silky fabrics, delicate detailing and tonal colors with shiny and matte contrasts. Standout pieces include a layered v-neck leotard and a dance shoe with anti-bacterial insoles. Layering is a key theme in this category, which also features oversized tees and chunky leg and arm warmers. A classic pair of leggings makes the look complete.
A unique concept, this line merges style with functionality and performance. Running products have fluorescent accents for maximum visibility at night and are designed to be easily packed away in even the smallest bag. “Wintersports” pieces are designed with insulation and protection in mind. Looks and substance? That’s what we call a winning combination.
