SkinWear

A Killer Product

SkinWear hand sanitizer

The ever-looming possibility of contracting h1n1 has us hooked on hand sanitizers, but most of them smell strongly of alcohol and dry out your skin. Then we discovered SkinWear. It feels funny to rave about a hand sanitizer, but this one has fast become a favorite. It smells delicious (although it’s not clear which of its many chemicals causes that wonderful, wholesome bouquet), is non-toxic and it actually moisturizes your skin. That’s why it feels a bit slimy when you first rub it on. SkinWear lasts for about 8 hours, if you don’t wash it off with soap (water is OK), and it’s supposed to kill 99.9% of common bacteria that can make you sick. Sounds good, but what about that other .1%?

Price: $14.99 for trial pack of one 8 oz. bottle and two 2 oz. bottles
