To say that "Bridesmaids" is simply "The Hangover" for women would be a great disservice to the comic genius that is Kristen Wiig. For the first time, the SNL all-star takes center stage and proves that female comedians are just as funny as their male counterparts. Wiig, as a down-on-her-luck maid of honor, battles the bride's "new" best friend for bridal party supremacy, and the results are hilarious. Not only is it the over-the-top moments that earn "Bridesmaids" a spot on this list, but the never-ending supply of sharp wit (thanks to the writing of Wiig and co-writer Annie Mumulo) and outstanding performances from an ensemble cast that provide consistent laughs throughout.
