More than just a sports film about burly guys in a Mixed Martial Arts tournament, "Warrior" follows the emotional journey of two estranged brothers with a burdened history. Tommy (Tom Hardy) is a recently returned Iraq veteran, while his older brother, Brendan (Joel Edgerton) is the underdog, a teacher with an upside down mortgage and a family to support. As both men fight their way to the final match of a tournament offering a five-million dollar prize, each reveals his strength, character and integrity.
