Top 10 Kids Movies

We had very specific criteria when assembling our list of the best kids movies of all time. We wanted to include timeless classics, but they couldn’t all be Disney. We certainly wanted to feature the coolest newer releases, but they couldn’t all be Pixar. We also wanted to pack in some international fare and pay homage to the rich culture of Japanese anime. The most important concern, though, was this: all films had to appeal to both kids and adults, who'd likely be watching these picks alongside their wee ones. This meant clever dialogue, mischievous characters, great, timeless cinematography and stories that make us feel not just entertained but also transported.
