Plot: "The Good" is Blondie, a cool wanderer with
a soft spot for bumbling bandit Tuco, otherwise known as "The Ugly."
The cruel Angel Eyes, "The Bad," completes
the triumvirate. In their search for a hidden treasure,
the three gunmen cross paths, as each only knows one
piece of information that the others need to get to
the gold.
Perks: Here's the recipe for a perfect spaghetti
western: Sergio Leone directs, Clint Eastwood stars
and Ennio Morricone does the score. Gorgeous cinematography
with long, drawn-out vistas, brilliant casting, a tasty
Mexican standoff and an epic climax scene we never tire
of revisiting.
