Aria Spa & Club at Vail Cascade Resort & Spa - Review
Soar, Float and Soak
How
would you like to start your day with a yoga class, and
then treat yourself to Shiatsu massage, and a hydrating and healing neem body wrap? Or maybe you'd like to feel more energized and
begin with a snowshoe excursion, followed by a massage and express foot therapy. Or, do you fancy
an omega 3 and flaxseed oil scrub, custom
massage and a little wax action?
Guests
at the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa soar, bloom,
float and shine with "symphonies for the senses."
After a $4-million renovation and expansion, Aria Spa
& Club offers mini escapes to help guests rejuvenate,
relax and cleanse. True to its location in the Rocky Springs
Mountains, treatments are nature-inspired, using natural,
organic products and oils.
Myriad
options at the 10,000 square-foot luxury spa include all
manner of facials (cellular repair; antioxidant; deep
cleansing and more), detoxing and hydrating wraps, a coffee and sea kelp scrub
you get the idea. Other luxuries include whirlpool baths, aromatherapy steam rooms, a
sanctuary with a fireplace and chaise lounges, and a 78,000 square-foot athletic
club outfitted with equipment from TechnoGym, Precor, Life Fitness, Stairmaster ans Schwinn. The fitness center also offers free weights, basketball, tennis,
racquet ball, volleyball, a heated pool, personal training, fitness
consulting, aerobics, Pilates, yoga and more.
While we're sure you'll be too relaxed to want to explore the slopes, it is important to note that Vail is the largest ski resort in North America.
Vail Cascade Resort is served by Chair 20, which is right
at the property's doorstep, and more than 30 additional
lifts are close by, including Blue Sky Basin with 520
acres of gladed and backcountry slopes.
Other
available winter activities include snowmobiling, snowshoeing,
ice skating and sleigh rides. While Vail has earned its fame as a winter playground, the resort is also gorgeous in the summer, offering warm-weather activities such as rafting, golfing, hiking and biking. Guest rooms are cozy with
warm jewel tones and rich wood accents. There are also two
outdoor hot tubs and two heated outdoor swimming pools. Whew, that is too much fun for just one trip. |
