Throughout the week of March 21-27, 2011, many of the top resort and hotel spas in the United States will be slashing prices for spa treatments by half, or offering flat-rate $50 deals as part of nationwide Wellness Week. Presented by SpaFinder, Wellness Week aims to inspire people to take steps toward a healthier lifestyle. Beginning February 15, and participating spas will also offer free wellness events in local communities, a full week of healthy spa cuisine menus, daily stress reduction tips, do-it-yourself spa treatments, exercise videos and advice from health and wellness experts.

Booking treatments early is encouraged, since many deals sell out quickly. Anyone who registers online at by February 28 can make appointments a full week ahead of the general public.

Spas participating in Wellness Week include Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa Miami Beach, one of our Top 10 Spa Hotels Worldwide, Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa at The Plaza Hotel, one of our Top 10 Spas in New York City, Nurture Spa & Salon at Luxor Las Vegas, The Spa at Sedona Rouge Hotel in Arizona, 29 Spa at The Mansion on Peachtree in Atlanta and many, many more.

"By providing a wide range of new treatments and activities at fabulous prices, we hope to inspire people to get healthier, de-stress, eat more wisely, and ramp up their fitness routines," said Sallie Fraenkel, Chief Operating Officer of SpaFinder, Inc. "With new online tools that help carry that inspiration into home life, Wellness Week is a perfect way to shake off the winter doldrums and turn wellness into a year-round lifestyle."
