TEI Spa UltraCleanse Spa Treatment Brush and Sea Salt Scrub - Review
A New Spin on Skin Care
TEI Spa Exfoliator Brush
Useful for exfoliating and buffing away dead skin, brushes are becoming increasingly popular among skin care companies, with many brands offering their own spin. However, while you may feel ready to ditch the loofah and washcloth, you may be less eager to do so when you learn that top-selling versions sell for upwards of $200. Luckily, we’ve found a more affordable option from TEI Spa.
Available for $50 (or $70 if you also purchase the recommended Sea Salt Scrub), the UltraCleanse Spa Treatment Brush comes with four detachable heads: the facial brush, the facial buffer, the pumice stone and the body brush. Basically, it has everything you need for an efficient head-to-toe cleaning.
The brush itself is a well-tuned machine. We didn’t care that we couldn’t change the speed settings, as the set speed applied just the right amount of pressure to be effective without being uncomfortable. Each brush was easy to attach (just make sure you hear it click into place or you’ll send it flying) and the pumice stone is a nifty and unexpected addition.
Following TEI Spa’s recommendation, we used the brushes with their Sea Salt Scrub. After the first use, we noticed our skin felt smoother, and there was a noticeable reduction in blackheads after only three washes. While we do think some with sensitive skin will find the combination abrasive, that’s a problem easily solved by pairing the brush with a trusted cleanser and body wash.
