We may not always act like delicate, proper little dolls (road rage, anyone?), but Doll Face's products can, at least, give our skin that flawless goddess glow. Part cosmopolitan cocktail party, part 1940s movie star's boudoir stash, Doll Face's products are "tested on starlets, not on animals" and made from natural ingredients like organic juices, flower extracts, sea plants and botanicals. This skincare line is divided into steps matching a night out on the town, making it easy to figure out what to use first: Happy Hour is cleansers and toners; Another Round is scrubs and peels; Aperitifs is masks and serums; and Last Call is creams and lotions.
Don’t worry about smelling like rum after completing your beauty routine: scents range from pleasing behind-the-bar inspirations (the lively Lemondrop Exfoliating Scrub) to natural solutions (the earthy Burlesque Renewal Cream). Our favorites were the Hoopla Enzyme Cleansing Wash—a fresh, apple/lemon-scented foaming cleanser that uses non-soap extracts to clean without drying out our skin—and the Burlesque Renewal Cream—an ultra-moisturizing formula with alpha and beta hydroxy acids that left our skin glowing. All of Doll Face’s products are packaged in 100 percent recyclable bottles and jars, which, in addition to looking very cute and retro on a bathroom countertop, keep Mother Earth happy as well.
Prices: Lemondrop Exfoliating Scrub, $33; Burlesque Renewal Cream, $48; Hoopla Cleansing Wash, $33.
