We confess to being product addicts, ever on a quest for better suds, scrubs and beauty potions. We also have a weakness for pretty packaging. Amid the vast sea
of available products we've become pretty picky. They must look and smell divine and, of course, they
have to work wonders on our skin. Recently, we came
across Fresh. Fresh's line is truly amazing.
Husband and wife co-founders Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg
believe "that every product must be as enjoyable
as it is effective." We recently had a chance to
see this statement in action at Fresh's Los Angeles
location at Sunset Plaza. The pretty, crisp store is
the first Fresh location in the U.S. to offer Modern
Ritual Treatments. And, we were in for a treat:
Enter
Soy Face Cleanser (with soothing cucumber extract and
rose water) and Rice Face Wash (extracts of white lily,
camellia) followed by Rose Marigold Toner (instantly
re-hydrating and plumping) — all smelled and felt
delicious. Then the Umbrian Clay Treatment — you
basically wet a chunk of clay and apply a paper-thin,
fast-drying layer. Next came Soy Eye Cream (fortifying)
and Soy Face Cream. At one point, artist Audrey Valenzuela
asked: "Doesn't this make you hungry?" It
quite did.
We must mention that at the beginning of our session, our eyes were red and puffy due to allergies. Not so after the treatment! After the "ritual," which
also included a soft massage and warm towel, our skin
positively glowed and felt refreshed and calm. All we
needed was a hint of Chalet Girl Foundation and Bewitching
Hour Blush Cream and some Satine Lip Shine. A whole
new woman was revealed!
Looking smashing we floated downstairs to check out
the rest of the Fresh selection and fell in love with
the Sake and Grenadine candles, gorgeous gift boxes
of petit soaps, and our new favorite scent, the Redcurrant
Basil Eau de Parfum.
