Room at The Glenn Hotel, Atlanta, GAAlthough its style speaks volumes about romance rather than business, the Glenn nonetheless provides each of its 93 rooms, 16 suites and single penthouse with work-supportive amenities, such as 54" work desks with ergonomically designed chairs; dual phone lines and voice mail; high-speed internet access and WIFI, and task-appropriate lighting. But the luxury and the details argue for romance. Built in 1923 as an office building, the Glenn is more than a renovation. Indeed, it's a stylish study in adaptive re-use, its historic skin enclosing a thoroughly modern approach to space and comfort. Its rooms show the Glenn as being all about sex appeal, with peek-a-boo showers in some rooms, 34-inch plasma screen TVs, plush soft goods, and exciting views from many rooms. The rooftop al fresco terrace bar and the hotel's proximity to Philips Arena, the Georgia Aquarium and the Georgia Dome make the Glenn ideal for special getaway weekends. For casually elegant dining, the hotel’s restaurant features a blend of eclectic fusion and American cuisine in an inviting atmosphere.
