Room at Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, Chicago, ILThis 1,200 room hotel boasts a fine convention and business location. It offers terrific views, imposing public spaces and a grand promenade along the river. Among the conveniences offered to conventioneers are a separate registration area and a 35,000-square-foot exhibition hall. The 44 “Corporate Club'' rooms have large desks, printers, fax machines and copiers. Guests in the 75 Tower rooms get complimentary continental breakfast, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, and separate check-in. All accommodations are pleasantly decorated and the amenity list is long, including voice mail, data ports, two-line phones and free weekday newspaper. Several restaurants on the premises include Shula's Steak House. A decent fitness room and a heated indoor swimming pool are complemented by the jogging trails along Lake Michigan. The hotel is a short walk to popular Navy Pier and Michigan Avenue shopping.
