 A log timbered lobby with huge slopeside windows and a massive stone fireplace sets the tone for this chic ski-in, ski-out hotel. It was inspired by the great lodges of the turn-of-the-century American West and was built in harmony with the grandeur of the surrounding national forest. Guests come here for the obvious in the winter---to ski. And during the summer families are attracted by nearby Vail's numerous dance, music and food festivals.
