Royal Palm Hotel Galapagos Review: Tucked away in the highlands of Santa Cruz Island, this luxury hideaway takes full advantage of its surroundings. Accommodations come in a wide variety. Free-standing villas include their own living rooms and dining areas, while the Prince of Wales Suite (named after the prince who slept there) has two bedrooms with separate entrances. Also available are the Royal Suite, Presidential Suite, and eight Veranda double guest rooms. Suites have fireplaces and outdoor Jacuzzis in private gardens, and standard amenities include satellite TV, LCD flat-screen TVs and wireless Internet. The restaurant's regularly changing menu ranges from classic to fusion and emphasizes fresh seafood. With its relaxing mood lighting and textures of wood, white stucco and thatch, the lounge bar is the perfect place to unwind after dinner or island excursions. Other facilities include an art gallery, meeting center, health center, tennis courts, a pool and a hotel boutique.
