The Bentley Hotel London Review: Just minutes from the couture shops of Chanel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, this 1880-built luxury hotel offers several dozen truly spectacular bedrooms and suites, each with their own individual charm and elegance. From the white marble lobby to the vaulted, red velvet-clad hotel bar, this eclectic blend of stunning period furniture and cascading white stone will whisk you away into nineteenth-century luxury. Take the spiraling staircase up to the 64 rooms, with gorgeous silk fabrics, golden furnishings and marble-lined bathrooms sporting large walk-in showers and Jacuzzis. Even the most basic rooms, the Standards, make most other hotel accommodations feel like youth hostels. Technology is discreet, featuring touch screen telephones and fully interactive audio-visual systems with infrared keyboards. The suites, meanwhile, up the ante with crystal chandeliers, woven chaise lounges, full sofas and antique vases; the uniquely appointed Imperial Suite even has a grand piano and a dining room for up to twelve guests. The Bentley's spa, Le Kalon, is centered around a Turkish hamam, a decadent marble cellar with several therapists ready to massage away your troubles. Service all around is obliging and deferential, and the hotel also features a premier finding dining restaurant, 1880.
