London Marriott Hotel Kensington Review: Well placed in the heart of Kensington, this contemporary hotel stands out due to its futuristic glass-and-aluminum façade. Upon entering the palatial, seven-story atrium lobby, you'll be wowed by one of the most fetching Marriotts you'll ever set foot into. Each of the 216 impeccably styled rooms features fabulously comfortable bedding --- luxury linens and fluffy feather and foam pillows on large beds --- as well as complimentary high-speed Internet and Sony PlayStations. Pull-out sofas and bathrobes are also standard. The on-site restaurants include Nabuco Bar and Atrium. Set in one of Europe's largest roof-hung glass atriums, the latter has a menu dedicated to American classics, featuring an authentic selection of USDA and British beef. Breakfast, meanwhile, offers a wide selection of both hot and cold dishes, and virtually no queues. The luxurious Marriott Leisure Club has a gym, a large indoor swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool and steam rooms. The hotel is set in an excellent location: right by Earl's Court and just a short distance to the Natural History Museum, Harrods and some of the best high-brow shopping in London.
